should I get my steerer tube cut down (as it looks shit with all the spacers)?

just worried the bars will sit to low then and I’ll struggle if I ever want to resell?

suppose I could always fit risers if there’s a problem

(yes there’s no front mech & seats low…but I did sweep up before taking the pic) oh they are blueberry bushes before anyone asks

Are you aware there are some funny attachments on the side of your bars?

run some psacers above the stem for a bit and see if you like the feel? If you prefer it as it is then leave it alone.

No one will question your bicycles sexuality, however long the steerer tube is, trust me.

I’d be more worried about the crack in the wall behind your bench, tbh.

More importantly, there appears to be a logo/valve error.

    Looks fine to me.

More importantly, is it comfy for you?

And nearly as important, it’s a VERY good idea to NEVER cut a steerer below 200mm as it keeps the resale value of the fork high. 🙂

Just move the spacers from underneath to on top and see how it rides first. You could always swap to a higher rise bar to counteract the spacer removal. Or you could stop worrying about your bikes sexuality.

should I get my steerer tube cut down

No. Buy a pipe cutter and do it yourself, maybe. But still no, cos it’s not that bad and it’s good to keep one or two spacers above the stem incase you want to fettle later.

don simon? Do I get a prize??
I wouldn’t worry about the steerer length, that bike would appear to many, many more problems which would contribute to its identity crisis.
