I treated myself to a nice Yobokies Seiko 5 last year. It came with a canvas/material strap which I was never very keen on. I don’t want a stainless bracelet so maybe a leather strap. Or some other military style?

nato / zulu strap? don’t get on with those either.

Had a couple of Darlena waterproof leather straps and been pleased with them. Good value.

That’s the kind of feedback I’m after, will check them out.

    Something like this one: http://www.watch-band-center.com/watchstrap-p20476h330s337-Watch-strap-Drayton-.html
I’ve got this exact strap, but not on a Seiko, and it’s very comfy. The neat thing is the deployment clasp, makes it really easy to put on/take off, and the leather won’t wear and rip where the buckle prong goes through. €15, so not pricey.
To adjust, there’s a little pin that goes through holes underneath, and fits flush with the underside. Really nice strap, mine’s on my work watch, so is worn eight hours a day, every day, the rest of the time I’m wearing my Seiko.
