After enjoying myself on a solo ride yesterday I thought I would join a group ride this morning. I know I am not at my fittest at the moment but I should be safe as one of the guys was bringing his young son.

I was then out ridden by him.

I cannot believe how unfit I am.

To be fair, he’s pretty damn good for an 11 year old and you’ve been off the bike for ages.
Always disheartening to be slower than you know you can be, but keep plugging away at it and you’ll soon be back to careering away from the front of the group. X
