my shock creaks when locked out - anyone had any similar problems? had it serviced and it still makes the same anoying noise, doesn't seem to move and the lockout feels ok it's an older tc 90 - 125mm from 05 i only use the lockout for the road but it's driving me crazy none the less !!!!
any ideas welcome
Maybe silly question, you sure its the shock and not some of the mountings
Or if it only does it when its locked out, a broken post or frame??
Suspension will take most of the stresses away when its working, switch to lockout and there is a whole heap more stress going on

yes definately the shock, checked the frame over very carefully and the post - i've tried pumping it right up to the maximum pressure recomended and it's much better and almost dissapears but obviously the suspension is way too hard, as soon as i let it back down to the right pressure for my weight the creaking's back ??? i'm guessing there's something amis internally ?
