A very simple question for for someone.

When using spacers on dual air forks to reduce the travel, does the fork length change between the axle and crown or does the spacer just reduce the amount of compressed travel?

My bike best works at 130-140mm travel but most of the 2012 forks i’m looking at are 150mm, not much difference, but i like things to be just right.

Changes the a2c length – adding a 10mm spacer means you have 140mm of exposed stanchion instead of 150mm, if that makes sense. I got 150mm Revs for my Soul and dropped them to 140
