About ten pals coming down – bikes in a transit van and the guys on the train.
Over 500 signed up, though we know.we’ll have a few drop outs.

Yip. Looking like I’ll be riding there and back. Luckily it finishes 2 minutes from my house.

Change of plan – booked the train instead. There are still bike spaces

Really ? I’m amazed. I’m in along with a dozen others with a van

I’m surprised, we got told weeks ago that the bike slots on the train were full. My bro is heading back to Newcastle afterwards too and the first five trains on Sunday are full for bikes.

I’m out unfortunately. Was going to make it a loop from Newcastle but am still tired from last weekend and can’t handle another 300 mile ride and no sleep.

I have a spare train ticket and bike space ( from Edinburgh down to Carlisle)if anybody needs one.
