or down a size?
(a big bike with a short stem? or a little bike with a long stem?)
it's for the GF - if that helps - we've found a bargain of a bike, but it's an online purchase, so no tryee before buyee...
I'd go smaller if really in between. You can always have a bit more seat pin showing and put a longer stem on. Impossible to make a big bike fit if you can't put the seat down lower.
That said there is probably a manufacturer that will fit and not be inbetween.
