    Hello,

Hopefully these are a couple of straight forward questions:

    1) I’ve spotted some Fulcrum 700c Disc Wheels at a really good price, however they’re 15mm bolt thru fronts. Am I right in assuming I just need some of these to convert them to 9mm QR? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/J-L-15mm-Thru-Axle-to-9mm-Quick-Release-QR-Hub-Conversion-Adapter-fit-Hope-Mavic-/301853632494?hash=item4647e0e7ee:g:3fYAAOSwv0tU41gW

    2) 5 miles into my planned 50 mile cycle this morning I’ve gone and shredded two tyres and tubes along with the below damage to the rim.. As you can see the rim is slightly bent inwards and the metal is sharp:

Would you attempt to repair these by straightening and filing it smooth (with a dremel) or bin them?

    Thanks in advanced!

Id tidy that up and keep riding. Ive got a mavic 519 rim that looks like that all the way round after doing a descent with a slashed tyre. Ran the wheel for years after.
