I'm in the market for a new set of treads - currently running Conti Mountain Kings 2.4 USTs on my 2011 Turner 5 Spot with Mavic 819s. Wanted for use in the Alps and rockier trail centres. Was considering Conti Mountain King UST Mk2s or Conti Rubber Queen. Anyone have any experience of these in the 2.4 format, or can recommend a UST that would be better?

I've been running the black chili 2.4/2.2 RQ's for over a year. The 2.2 rear blew up on me last weekend - sidewall got damaged and gave way after an untreated slow puncture. I'm now running a 2.35 small block 8 dtc on the rear and it feels a good bit slower but has better cornering grip in comparison
