I’ve currently got Endura ones. Either Zymes or Singletrack.

I’m looking for something light with few if any pockets and belt loops (as I’m only really wearing them to protect my bib shorts).

Needs to take a belt or have some sort of adjustability that works. Neither of the endura ones do, they gradually come loose and start to fall down which is annoying. Black, not enduro flouro and not expensive (<£40)

Stretch and slim fit is good as I find that the current ones are a bit too baggy and get caught on things.

My ideal would probably be https://www.decathlon.co.uk/500-mountain-bike-cycling-shorts-dark-blue-id_8354173.html but in black but they dont have any online or in my local shop.

    Anyone know of an alternative.

Our lads wear Adidas or Nike tracky shorts or 3/4 – uber cheap, one pocket, snug, quick drying.

I have a couple of pairs of just plain outdoor shorts – one pair are Merrell running shorts and one pair Salomon. Both nylon softshell material, both snug fit compared to all my cycle baggies, both just a pair of hand pockets.

Morevello Rise and Descend Shorts are brill and fit your criteria well (as do the Polaris ones) but more than your budget unless they’re on sale.

Just get any old pair of cheapo sports / gym shorts from somewhere like Sports Direct or Decathlon.

Thanks, cheap gym, run shorts might be just the answer.
