Right , in a pickle with Pikes and steerer tube, pikes are 165mm and headtube is 120mm so allowing for headset I reckon that I would need a stem with 30mm stack height. Any recommendations appreciated

One of them? can be run upside down for a bit of rise.

    Or

    Or

Or the DMR Defy as mentioned above is a good choice.

Also once had a ragley stubbing which was pretty low

Funn Enduro stems are 30mm. Incidentally I have a couple of 45mm reach ones with Ti bolts for sale…

Just got a Ragley Stubbing to solve the same problem. Seems well made and was ~£40.

Just checked out the stubbing, looks nicely made just a toss between the dmr and it for the job

I’m in the same boat, almost – but even more specific! I need a 35mm clamp one with a bit of rise and light weight!

Defy seems to be the only one close, but it#s not the lightest 🙁
Ragley and fun aren’t available in 35mm. What I really need is a low stack Renthal, but I want some stack in reserve in case I want to fit an angleset.
