I’m looking for a cheap (<£30) analogue watch for riding.

Must be analogue with large luminescent hands, .
Also would like it to be slightly rufty-tufty and not too heavy for my limp wrists.

My current watch is a cheap Kahuna but it’s stopper working, the glass is cracked and the hands are difficult to see at night.

Suggestions please!

2nd timex expedition. bought the wife the ladies one recently and its really nice. would buy the one glittergary linked too myself except for the fact i like a tide function.

I second the g10. simple and yet tough.

swatch skin is good for riding, doesn’t bounce around, doesn’t get in the way of gloves, etc

I got a Sekonda for £20 on ebay when the battery went on my main watch. I like it and would reccomend one – i am thinking of getting a more expensive one at £40.

CTC aren’t G10’s, they’re G10 lookalikes, and don’t meet the standard.

MWC are probably your best bet- they’re made to G10 spec, or CWC (through Silvermans)- but they’ll cost more.
Timefactors also do a G10 spec, the Precista PRS-10, which has improved waterproofing.

There’s some in my Aldi still at under £20.
