Brake cylinder hone in a drill.

Get a half round file and wrap fine grade emery cloth over the end of it, use that to gently remove any surface rust. Worked on all my bikes I have restored.

    Cheers all,

Going to have ago with the brake cylinder hone and a can of WD40

WD40 and either a rag on a garden cane or a bottle brush on a garden cane.

Long drill bit/metal bar stuck in the drill, with a strip of sandpaper stuck on the end.
