    Now I assume the li-ion battery and the Nimh battery are both the same polarityty – wired same at output – I cant see why this would not be the case
    Is this correct so I dont blow a LED driver and no I dont have a voltmeter to hands to check

    To the best of my knowledge all lumi stuff is wired Centre Negative. for some strange reason .
    certainly all the lumi mods I have done have all been wired this Way

    hate to blow my “antique” prototype trout light with a mere 800 lumens [brighter than a hope 4] – still going strong
