My god it is boring putting 300ish CD's on my pooter but on the plus side I've found loads of albums I'd forgotten I had and some that I have no memory of where they came from

Nope all mine, I never borrow a cd (I might get them to burn a copy) as I won't lend mine out as it really boils my piss when you don't get them back

I know, just kidding, hence the winky. I only lend cd's to one mate and he lends to me. Otherwise I'd totally lose track.
And lose discs, too. Trouble is I've got so many CDs that I keep misplacing discs I know I've got and can't find the bloody things. Even worse when they're in those little cardboard sleeves with no spine to speak of. Lost one album for over a year once.

You don't happen to have my remastered copy of Dare by the Human League, do you? It's got remixes on and everything. Bloody good, it is, but I cannae find it!
I'm undergoing a similar process, albeit with circa 1000 CDs and onto MediaMonkey. Recent joyous re-discoveries have included Portishead's Dummy, The Bees' Sunshine Hit Me, the two albums of Cousteau, and Nigeria Special: Modern Highlife Afro Sounds and Nigerian Blues, 1970 - 1976, and I'm only about 200 CDs into the job! More delights await, I hope.
You're not the Ken Shields who writes the Diary in the (Glasgow) Herald newspaper by any chance, are you?

Tom Shields is old school. I doubt you would ever see him on a bike. Halt Bar more likely.But Mike, I am submitting your post to the diary so I get published AGAIN! Ken would love to be confused with Tom and it would mean he has achieved legendary status.
