I signed up for the subscription offer which stated that issue 1 would be out on 17th Sept. Not had my copy yet, anyone out there got theirs? I know it's been printed as I have seen preview issues on-line (Washingmachinepost).

I subscribed on Thursday. Confirmation email told me it would be posted early October.
As with all these things, I'm happy to wait and then have a nice surprise on the doormat when I get home one day.
Reminds me - I must renew my Rouleur subscription.

I couldn't bring myself to subscribe initially, but I've finally got around to looking properly at the TdF issue of Rouleur that I bought months ago and the Robert Millar article on climbing alone could well persuade me to subscribe.

Being impoverised and out of work I was going to. But. Issue 1 is effectively "free". You subscribe which isn't taken until issue 2 is shipped in Feb. If you don't like first issue you can cancel and get charged nowt. Seemed a no brained to me

I subscribed on the 17th and have just had an email saying the first mag I'll receive is Issue no. 2. WTF have they sold out or something?
I'll have to call and see if I can get issue 1 !

So, it's March 2011 before the next issue according to this
"Thank you for taking out a subscription to Privateer with our delayed Direct Debit option. Your first issue will be 0002 due on approximately 7th March 2011."

Blimey woody, you must have only just missed the cut. I subscribed on the 17th too, however I've been told I'll get issue 1, but not until early october.
Maybe theres a second print run or something if mines going to take that long to arrive, so give them a bell.

My subscription email imformed me that I would start with 0001, but not receive it till mid October. As long as I actually get 0001 I'll happily wait.

You see, it pays to read things sometimes.
I've just checked my email. I placed my subscription on 29th Aug. The email says my first issue is due on Oct 1st. Surprised as I thought this would have been early enough to hit the 17th Sept delivery date. Oh well just have to put my waiting head on.
Just a bit of a mag addict and am really looking forward to this. 1st new MTB mag since St is it not?

mine's just arrived today too, even though I wasn't expecting it til next month.
I also just found out I shouldn't be expecting to get a day off before Christmas now, so the likelyhood of it actually getting read before then is pretty slim.

just got mine - it looks more like a brochure than a magazine, 260x210x10mm thick perfect bound - not sure what that size is called, and yes, the smell is minging
Nice sans font on heavy quality gloss-eggshell finish paper - correction, some of it is serif font.

Haven't got mine yet, although subscriptions usually arrive a few days late on the Isle Of Man.
Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow.

I subscribed, was told that my first edition will be 0002 next March. So I've cancelled already! Would have stayed a subscriber with a full set too.
So get them up on ebay...
