Ordered a couple baselayers off PlanetX … and surprised to see they sent me a free box full of their rubbish too.
    Thanks PlanetX …

Fairly standard. Doesn’t bother me and so long as it works, that’s fine, but why not simply use a jiffy bag for base layers?

Take advantage of their free returns policy to send it back?

They tend to pinch a bit under the arms.

It’s a brace to go between the dropouts on a frame in transit.

I approve of recycling packing material, but that does look a bit like you got sent the office bin.

Great idea; in the name of recycling obviously.

    And no haribo’s …

They’re obviously crowdsourcing their waste disposal.

Send it back with a turd included.

Big question is – how the hell are you still using Photobucket?!

I’m getting a sense of deja-vu. Have they done this before?

What was left of my forks came back from TF Tuned like that. At first I thought it was a bit odd, but I think it is a great way to recycle clean materials. I even found a use for a couple of the bits of foam!

Maybe they should be reminded of their waste disposal duty of care. It’s ok to recycle packaging but that’s disposing of trade waste to the consumer.

probably better to use slightly too much packaging than to economise just a little too much:

I sent 3 Lyriks back to PX for inadequate packaging. Each time something had burst through the paper thin OEM box and got damaged in some way.

You should consider yourself lucky. Without it I dread to think what might have happened to your base layers. 😆

As long as the packaging serves its purpose I’d rather they reused it and reduced the amount of ‘new’ packaging they buy.

That said, the pic does look a bit like they’ve chucked a bunch of random crap in there that was picked up from the warehouse floor, rather than fill thier own bins.
