I have to teach some of my more challenging students pinhole photography – which is great for them but has left me a bit perplexed about the hole 😉 thing.

Any STW’rs have any recommendations on paper or film to use, developer or whatever else I need. How much I should be paying for it and any good resources on how to produce the best images.

The first week will be researching cameras and how they work. Second week will be planning the pinhole camera, third week making, possibly taking four knowing the nutters in the group.
So it is concievably 5 weeks before they take their first photo, so I have time to order stuff in.

I tried it with my digital slr – used a body cap (about £1.50). Put a hole in with a little drill bit, then put foil over the hole and a pinhole through that. Could be a starting point..?

You’re probably going to need a lot of light and very long exposures!
