My parents owned a 1.5 'Sud when I was a kid – even my Mum thought it was a great car. Shame the chassis rotted and it went to the scrapper.

I had an Alfetta when I were a lad, went like a sh*t of the shovel, absolute stonker.

Had a 1.5x in about 1987,blew XR3s into the weeds,gearchange like stirring porridge,and had to be welded,before I'd buy it.

Oooooooo. I've come over all un-nessessary. I often mention 'Suds when the pub chat gets onto cars, and I googled them a while back, but there aren't many around, sadly, most being on the continent. Always wanted one, wish I'd bought one when I had a chance, but I never had a garage to do the work nessessary to keep the thing running, and as rust-free as possible. Ha!

My dad used to have a GT Junior when he was younger. He still has some pictures and it looks amazing. One day I will have a classic alfa.
