Very nice – thanks for posting. Worth a trip over there methinks:)

p.s. What’s the beta on the rear guard BTW? Is it a home made job?, if so, it looks a real proper job.

Is that now? When I was living there it would be well covered with snow at this time of year. Du hade en väldig god tid där!

Thanks! This photo essay was shot during late August to end of October. Right now we got plenty of rain and mud. Hopefully the winter is coming and we also get some days with snow and ice soon. The biking here is great all year around. The mud and rain makes you just stronger. 🙂

This is what the trails can look like right now, we shot this video exactly two years ago:

The rear mudguard is actually a front Mudhugger FR. It fits perfectly on the Nomad just like that. Four zip ties and it’s secured. The only modification was done by the chain, which did wear away a small bit of the mudguard near the chainstay. https://www.themudhugger.com

Not a single mention of Änggården which is practically slap bang in the city centre and is full of miles of easy to find trails…

As I wrote in the essay: “There are 10 main areas for mountain biking in Gothenburg, and in this photo essay we have covered five of them. Each area has a huge trail network, and some of them would require weeks of exploration.”

Änggården (or Änggårdsbergen) is one of the ten “main” areas for mountain biking in Gothenburg. Loads of trails there too, little more crowded with people and horses. Here’s a map over the ten areas in Gothenburg:
