hi mate, do you mean the pentlands in scotland? if so i went yesterday with the intention of riding but the snow was about 8 inches deep so beware! Nick

oh yeah – we went up on sunday, carrying a 34lb around the lower hills is great exercise.

i rode there tonight and it was tough. only the lower slopes could be considered rideable. twas indeed getting on for two foot deep in places.

No probs voomvoom. good look with the ride.

Couple of photos of typical conditions atm here; it's not too bad if you know where the 'higher-use' paths are (compacted snow), but off-path isn't even fun!
