It’s upgrade time again.

I’ve currently got a Nokia N95 8GB and now I’m looking for a replacement.

I want to use it to look at email, browse the web, organise/synchronise my diary with my work PC (Outlook Exchange synchronisation is not possible due to firewall issues) and make the occasional phone call.

The Palm Pre seems to fit the bill. Has anyone any experience of using one?

I guess alternatives would be another Nokia. Anyone got an N97 Mini?

For various reasons I don’t really want an iPhone. Mostly because they seem a bit big and I don’t think I can synchronise it to my work PC and connect it to iTunes on my Mac at home.

its a good little phone, I think I'd be happy with it although it is a little plasticy. I've an n97 and I'm desperate to install the new firmware but its not available for my region code yet 🙁

if I was going for a nokia it'd be the n900, a little large but better than most.

The keyboard on the pre is horrendous.
If you don't want an iphone and are staying with O2, I suggest you hang on until they get a nokia x6 or a hero.

Boss has got one. He's a big fan of Palms in general but seems to regret spending the money on the Palm Pre. Has a big overheating problem too.
