My bro. is getting a bike through a cycle to work scheme and has £1000 to spend.
He wants a fast trail HT and is looking at the EVO8. It looks a great spec for the money compared to some others. (Choice is limited to lines the one supplier stocks.)
Good move?

I have a 2008 EVO8 and its a nice bike no question – bit of a hidden gem because I haven’t seem that many of them around. It feels fast, strong and responsive but I don’t think it is any lighter than the other bikes you mention.

I (as always) wish I had saved more and spent more – there always seems a better bike out there……

Oh dunno about Wheelies, I thinking about a large brand of outoftown car spares, bass binz and other tat which uses a another company to get bikes on their behalf.
