Is Open Office a good option for a netbook?

We have Office 2007 on the desktop but I wondered if Open Office was worth trying.

    How do you rate it?

    Thanks.

    Google docs?

Seems easier to use to me and as everything is saved in Google it doesn’t take up any of the netbook’s pitiful memory (if yours is like mine).

What do you use Office for? I only ever use the basic word processing/spreadsheet stuff, so it’s fine for everything I want to do. I’ve got a HP210, running Ubuntu Netbook.

That’s the kind of thing I want to do as well.

    I’ll give it a try I suppose.

    Thanks.

Frustrating at times, but can’t complain for the price.
