So new job is in schools, but outside.
Seems mr-outdoor-instructor-kit is OTT (is is not up mountains), nor is it neat enough. However, suited n booted is also no appropriate.
Can someone suggest a source of shirts that are OK worn sans tie?

I hate polo shirts! Really glad they’re not a requirement at work.

M&S, most shirts are fine without a tie, just check the top button as some are too high and others can leave you showing too much chest wig…

Polo shirts. It’s work. Not high fashion.

It depends what you are doing outside those schools. If you are remotely active, polo shirts. If not, polo shirts might still be fine, but you’d probably want shirts with button cuffs rather than cufflinks wouldn’t you? M&S would probably do you fine, Lewins are doing 4 for £100 as usual.

Polo shirts are better than a tucked-in short sleeved shirt – they just smack of used car sales.
