nutcracker series
Anyone going to give these ago? Not sure if you can enter on the day which would be handy for me. Hopefully will get to some as there on my doorstep and it would be rude not to!
Anyone else?

Ill be at a few of them yeah. They look good.
I saw you can enter on the day - them seem to charge an extra fiver for the privelege.Posted 2 years ago # -
Yep, I really wanna do this after doing Hit the North the other week. Dalby and Hamsterly should be really good. I hope enough people turn up because there hasn't been much publicity.

Looks good but Dalby round clashes with Gisburn 12 Hour Enduro!! :o(
Posted 2 years ago # -
Correction - Gisburn 12hr is on saturday.

Entry on the day is possible but the organisers are keen for riders to pre-enter, it gives them more of an idea of how many riders to expect. We had a meeting with the organisers last week and entry numbers are pretty good at the moment. Our race, the Fremington one is definatley going to be the most scenic and a pretty tough one. All the courses are having a lot of time spent on them to make for real good racing.
If you are seriously thinking of entering it does make it loads better for everyone if you enter earlier rather than on the day.
Cheers all, happy racing if you make it

Hey guys,
I'm really interested in entering these but can't seem to find on the website any details about the trails - i'd quite like to know what to expect with regards to distance etc so i'd be very grateful if anyone could shed some light on this for me
Thanks in advance!

I'm quite excited for this! I entered the first race. Has anyone else entered in the senior novice category?
Posted 2 years ago # -
So is anyone going tomorrow?
Posted 2 years ago # -
back home, just finished washing the mud off everything. i was in the vets cat, riding an orange niner and sporting some sugio tatoo armwarmers which you couldn't miss. race went o.k. got a decent start, then fell and lost a few places. pulled a few back but not sure if they were in the same category, was passed by some too. i was a bit ragged by the last lap and had a few cock ups. 1st british cycling event for me, last time i can remember was a bcf event in 1992.

Aaah I talked to you and was admiring your armwarmers ( i was in the senior novice and was sitting with the photographers when you finished)
I couldn't get over the conditions today - took me nearly an hour to clean my bike!
Brill race overall even though i was the only lady in my cat and had 2 punctures! Thanks to the guy who helped me out with the first one too
You entering the second one Keavo?Posted 2 years ago # -
so you won then:-) i can't make the next one but should be at dalby.
Posted 2 years ago # -
Haha Yeh I suppose I came first and last
Good times! I got the spot prize for the category too
Roll on more, hopefully less muddy, races!
And i seriously want some of those armwarmers

I was there mid pack in the masters not seen the results yet but may suprise myself. The mud was tough going and i ran most of it! But despite the mud they did a great job on the course. Hope to do more if not all of them now.

Any one know when the results are out?
Posted 2 years ago # -
I will probably enter the Hamsterley one, as it about as local as I'm going to find a race.
Is it fair to presume that Miketually will be doing this on a proper singlespeedy machine?
Posted 2 years ago # -
the website says results will be out on wedensday.
Anyone got any pics?

Dub, If you email nigelmcenaney@hotmail.co.uk he was the photographer on the day and you can buy photos for £2 and he'll email them to you
