    Hi all,

Going to Betws Y Coed end of next month (good central spot for main trail centres). Seems allot of the Local Hostels are full…. any advise on alternative stays in the general area Log Cabins… Self catering preferable not B&B. We hare 6 people and with bikes. The plan is to do Llandegula / Pen / Coed y Brenin.

    Any help appreciate chaps!

Trawsfyth holiday park. About 2 miles from cyb. They got loads of log cabins 4-8 birth and there’s a pub/restraunt on site.
I havnt stayed in one but have hired the bunk house which sleeps 22 and is fantastic.

Stayed in Dolgellau about a month ago in the place below and will certainly stay there again.

It was clean and the couple that own the place are very welcoming. Think it was about £21 pnpp but the rooms come installed with a little kitchenette to cook breakfast on, etc.

The bunkhouse jd-boy is talking about is the Vagabond. Very good but does tend to get booked up.

Eagles bunkhouse at Penmachno is another option.

This weekend we stayed at the Bronaber cabins (holiday village) which is about 2 miles from Coed-y-brenin. Penmachno about 25 mins drive away. They were lovely! Choice of 6-person or 4-person.
