2015 ‘shattered’ global temperature record by wide margin

December was bizarrely warm, was out on saturday morning temperature was -2 and the crab apple trees had blossom on them 😯 😕

    It’s weather, not climate.

    BBC and climate reporting. Lolz.
Beat the data enough and it will admit to anything.

    No, it’s both.

slowoldman- the continuing rise in global temperature is climate, though. And a big concern. Well, it should be but for completely inexplicable reasons some people don’t ‘believe’ in something that all the evidence points to and some think earning money is more important than curbing the rise.

2015 is likely to be a high point for a while with El Nino but next time El Nino rolls round that will be a new high point, and the one after that, and so on until we decide to do something about it.

I agree. The current unseasonal conditions are the weather.

Lots of weather adds up to climate.

You can’t say any one particular weather event is down to climate change, but the number of events is.
