    Depending on how much of a hurry you are in, you could wait till March as the 3DS is released and should drive down the prices of regular DSi units. I would imagine retailers will start to cut prices mid-feb.

    18th of March for the new 3DS. Doesn’t answer your question, sorry, but if you can wait till then (or your kids can) do so. Expect better bundles on DSi around this time too.
