    Just perhaps we may get a hung parliament and his price for supporting cameron is electoral reform.

    Much to my surprise minority governments have basically worked at holyrood and the price that the minor parties have extracted has been generally beneficial.

    PR on councils, no foundation hospitals or city academies and so on.

    Just actually this could happen that Clegg ends up as kingmaker and he appears to be astute enough to use that powr wisely.

    as TJ said, they could be very important at the next election… no one wants labour in, and nobody likes the tories enough for them to get a winning majority. i reckon the winning party will be the one with the lib dems on their side…

    it was noted just last 2 weeks ago on R4 that both labour and the torries are sucking up to nick already.
