Just finished the final touches to my 2010 Trek Fuel Ex9 and I am quite pleased with the result.

Changes from new stock bike are:
    Wheels, Crank Brothers Iodine
    Cassette, sram 990 Tango
    Tyres, 2010 Nobby Nics
Bars, Race Face Dues ex 2010 Agent Orange
Grips, Brown lockons with different make white and orange clamps
    Seatpost, White FSA
    Cable outers, white jagwire
Hoses, white heatshrink tubing covered stock hoses as I could not get white elixir hoses.
Also, my stock bike came with an orange seat qr rather than the orange one shown in the Trek spec pictures so I contacted trek and had the correct one sent from the US.

First ride later so will have to see if it lives up to the good reviews… even after all of my tinkering.

Typical – they weren't in stock when I was looking. Still, heatshrink tubing has worked well and MUCH cheaper

first bike i've seen where those wheels don't look out of place.

Very nice, but what a bizarre looking rear shock.

Looks amazing, but think It's bordering on white overload, a thomson post in black might look better. Very nice though!

    Very nice work.

I'm trying to decide between an EX8 and an Anthem X2….if I can make my mind up I may have it in time for the Whinlatter challenge this weekend.

You need to sweep up those fallen leaves and power-wash the algae off those slabs. 😉

Stunning, I hope you're saving up for some of those coloured Noir cranks too, not that there can be much budget left. Enjoy.

i read the spec before i scrolled down to the picture (weird habit of mine)

all i could think of was 'gopping'

    then i saw it.

    its better than it sounds…

Nice bike mate, concerned for the white finish on your seat post though!! Looks amazing..go ride. i test rode one when considering my full sus, could't get on with it tho. Bought an Orange 5 Pro instead, still like the look of the Trek's though. Nice bike again..

Haha, or white hair for that matter.

The seatpost is a step too far for me, but the rest is quite nice really.
