How does it ride compared to the Cromo?

Looks nice, as does the Cromo.

Certainly is faster. Frame is about 600g lighter.

Sorry I’m not great at putting what I felt into words. I was climbing in a higher gears. Flat bit were faster and front end pops up easier. When stomping on pedals there seems to be a more direct response.

Not certain how much of that is just ‘shiny bike’ syndrome..

Looks good that does. I would get some black grips though to complete the Ti and black look. Is it 1 x 9 or 1 x 10?

will you stop mentioning these, at £399 they are a steal.

and the 15″ is perfect size for me, how’s it compare to the soul?

    Nice build BTW 😉

1 x10. The grips are a nod to my previous frame (see classified!).

The 853 Kili was very similar to the Soul and had nicer detailing. This is better.

The £399 ones look sold out. 15″ are back up to £550.

Is it a really small bike or does your wall have HUGE bricks…

I have one of each – a Soul and a Saracen Kili Ti.

The Saracen has a slightly steeper head tube – so handling is a bit twitchier, or the Soul is a bit more stable downhill. The Kili Ti can be built into a great trail bike and at that price is an absolutely fantastic buy.

Both frames can take a hammering downhill but the Saracen is a lot lighter and more sprightly / lively especially when you stand up and pedal. Also Saracen is more comfortable on longer rides.

I’ve got my Kili Ti built up as XC endurance machine – light wheels, long stem, KCNC finishing kit – really light and not a bit of carbon on it.

What headset are you guys using with the Kili Ti?

Mine came with a cheap FSA one (FSA No.11N Headset).

I’ll upgrade to a Hope one later (semi-integrated).

My frame arrived today with an FSA 36 x 36 headset. No cups included.
Does that sound like the wrong type?

the bearings are the ‘cups’ on that headset I believe.

My Soda cost less than that- and what’s more it came with some free cracks. You don’t get that sort of uniqueness from Sarcin!

I had a look at the Saracen site and the 15″ has a 575mm top tube – anyone know if that is horizontal or actual ?
