To take advantage of the small size, GoPro has developed a new line of mounts, including the Low-Profile Frame that offers a wide range of adjustment, and locates the camera very close to the surface its fixed to. Then there’s the new Ball Joint Buckle which allows the Hero4 Session to be rotated through 180 degrees. It’s also compatible with any regular GoPro mount.

Like the sound of that ball joint mount!

After a little bit of reading… The GoPro Hero 4 Silver video quality is miles better than the tiny new one and you cannot replace the battery. The good news is that it does have a 2 hour battery life and there is no standby mode. This means the 2 hours battery life is actual recording time, the bad news is it takes 4 seconds to turn on and start recording.

Like the sound of that ball joint mount!

There’s a company making ball joints already, can’t remember who but they’re easy enough to find on ebay.
