I’m after a new digital camera. Not ready for a full on dslr but something with a good optical zoom built in. About £100-£150 to spend. Has anybody got any personal recommendations or seen any sale bargains?

I’ve got one of these, it’s a tad over the £150 limit, but only just.

It’s a fantastic piece of kit and the picture quality is very good.

MrCM just bought one of these…………really nice and compact, easy to use, hardly any shuuter lag and fab pics…

Ricoh R8’s are going for £150 (down from £250) I have been a big Ricoh fan since film days (GR 28mm prime) and have a GR-D and R6.

Fuji S8100 off Amazon. Great camera, less than £150 unbeatable spec.
