  • Narrow UST Mud Tyre Q – Apologies

All this rain is making think of dark months ahead.

Opinions please- What's the best on the back for Chilterns cack (see what I did there)?

Have had a 1.9 Trailraker but they don't do that in a UST. Have seen a 1.8 Maxxis Medusa on Ebay but nowhere else.

    Thanks in advance.

They most certainly do UST. I have two 2.1s in my garage.

    there's a 1.8 bontrager mud-x
not sure they're quite as much of a mud tyre as a trailraker though
(edit – tubeless ready rather than UST too)

Thanks for the quick replies. I have seen the 2.1 Medusa but was hoping to get a narrower tyre to cut through the mud. I was just wondering why I could only find a 1.8 on ebay (suspicious as the Maxxis website doesn't list them).

SP- Bontys are a no-go in the Chilterns, the flints cut them to shreds.

Also, can anyone tell me how the 2.1 Medusa measures up?

    (wide/narrow 2.1 etc)
