I’d say the big lump of grit suggests pennines, so Yorkshire or Northumberland are most likely. Derbyshire can probably be discounted as it’s debatable whether it’s the midlands or north.

That said, it could be the moor just above Skiddaw…

Looks a bit like Baysdale Moor up above Kildale on North York Moors

North York Moors or somewhere around Gunnerside.

Ms Spanner reckons it’s Harkerside Moor, just above Low Row in Swaledale.
Looks a bit too gritstoney to me, but that’s her guess.

I think it looks more like the Pendle/Roughlee area.

It looks like the type of trails you get in the Cleveland Hills but that covers a pretty big area.
