Anyone in Edinburgh know which bike store is best for stocking singlespeed parts?

Looking for a 3/32 half link, last time I traipsed round the usual suspects, one of them didn't even know what a half link was and I gave up before I found somewhere with one in stock.

Sorry, but why would you want a 3/32 half link - surely a 1/8" chain is better?

I got a halflink chain from Edinburgh Bike, and TBC have them in stock too.

I'm using 3/32 gears (free from parts bin) and wider chains are heavier with a lot of people unconvinced they are any stronger.

Will give the bike chain (shop) a try first, thanks.

Hi Calum,
We've just checked for a 3/32 SS chain. Alas, we don't have one in stock.
We can have one here by Wednesday if you are able wait that long.
Let us know.

I'm sorry but what make it better? I have never had a 3/32 breakage in 10 years of SS and it is lighter.

3/32 is just as good... I would say they are better.

I would say buy one from me but we have sold out and they are rare again.

Happy hunting.

They make 3/32 half links?

And you don't have a phone?
