Just been out for my first ride with a MTE SSC P7 900-Lumen 5-Mode Super LED Flashlight (18650) from Deal Extreme and what can I say, it's brilliant buy one!
Not only did it take only 4 days from despatch to get here but the light is fantastic quality. Feels well made and all of the threads are nice and clean with no burs or swarf rash.
I was out for 2 hours and it is still as bright as it was when it was first turned on. I have left it on to see how long it lasts on one 6 hours battery charge. Surprisingly it is not getting too hot.
The coverage of the beam is great and you can happily get away with the middle setting.
I do think the other 3 settings are a little needless as the flashing modes appear to use the high beam and it is like watching a rave on the trail. (Not suitable for epileptics).
Only things I could fault was the battery sticker on the inside is the wrong way round and the O ring on the battery cap is a little temprimental.
Best value thing I have ever bought for the bike. £44 for 4 batteries, charger, adaptor, bar mount and light delivered.
