Calderdale Mountain rescue were retrieving a biker from the moor just down from Stoodley Pike yesterday. Sounded serious – both shoulders and spine injury. Any one know what happened to him?

He confused ‘they’re’ and ‘their’ on an STW post – a timely warning to us all.

I feel bad for laughing out lot at that joke, IDave, but it was very funny.

Hope the rider is okay, though.

From Calder Valley Search & Rescue website ….

    Incident number 640
1719Hrs. Team called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to an injured mountain biker who had sustained a possible broken collar bone in a fall from his bike. He was treated and assisted off the hill and handed over to a waiting ambulance crew at Kilnshaw Lane an hour after the initial call.
