You know the ones, magazines and magazine titles that make you yawn the minute they hit the door mat!

    I'll start!

    'Solids & Bulk'

    Beat that one! 😆

I think I'm remembering this right, but I would have sworn I talked to the man who set up "Solids & Bulk" at a party in the summer. He had also established other fascinating magazines, including one which was about the transportation and handling of margarine.

    "Trusts & Trustees" is lethal.

I'd gladly send some on here a copy just to see their blood boil.

My wife used to work on various paranormal, X Files and UFO titles many years ago. Not boring really but she didn't get much work done for laughing at all the fantastical claims.

I would love to work for something like Private Eye

    🙂

I worked on the advertising desk of this magazine for a day once:

    http://www.lro.com/

It was actually a lot more interesting than it sounds. There seems to be a bit of a crossover between land rover enthusiasts and military vehicles, and who doesn't fantasise about owning a tank?

I've worked on a bunch over the years. However, I never got a chance to work on the following:

The Sensible Potato (for potato farmers)

Crops (I seem to remember it being a Farmers' Weekly offshoot, and not that boring)

    Routing Monthly
Grabber line: "The world's most versatile machine tool"

    IBM Today
(OK, I did work for that one. I needed the money.)

Poultry Week (It published a calendar which was one of the most sought after items in the offices of Reed Business Information. Every month had a picture of a different chicken.)

    Railway Gazette
