    That’s a good review.

    What many people don’t get about a fatbike is that it can take you places that don’t have a track = true cross country.

    The comment

    “Basically if you can walk without post holing or kicking steps then you will be riding”

    is probably the best description I’ve seen of a fatbike’s capability.

    As is the need for an ultra low gearing. 🙂

    Thanks Epicyclo we are just realising what is capable and have some cool adventures planned, only made possible by fat tyres and blow up boats.

    we have some crazy idea of doing a coast to coast in Scotland…………..

    Hmm, I have exactly the same plan myself. But not fat bike so it might take a lot walking or a careful route choice!

    We have pack rafts too which should help.

    There is no route choice. You dont get to go around anything! You follow a straight line on the garmin and yer not allowed to budge from it!

    Would be good to see a speeded up film of it some day.
