    Anyone have a good preference for what cables to use with Avid BB7 mech disks? Or will bog standard Shimano/Transfil ones be just as good?

    Bog std shimao are good IMO – the solid Avid one looked good (straightjacket?) but I have not used one.

    Cables make a huge difference. Avid and Jagwire work for me.
