Noticed the psi max rating pressures for 4 different widths of tyres on the side of rims.

Do people stick to them? Does it matter?

Mavic also have a max psi chart on their rims.

You can ignore the Stans table if you are using tubes

Having had a tyre explode off my flow rim at about 60psi, deafening me and covering me in wheel gunk, I can confirm that if the ‘max PSI 60’ sticker is there, I’d believe it…

Not if I’m running with tubes thou? That’s ok then. 🙂

Don’t think I’ve ever put more than 40-45psi in a tubeless MTB tyre and that was only to get it seated. A big tyre on a wider rim is a lot of square inches.
