Thinking of buying a pair of Mavic shoes via mail. They're marked as a size 12 but, as has been the case with every pair of bike shoes I've ever owned, will I need a 13?

Half a size over your normal street shoe size seems to work well with them

Depends if you're going to use thick socks (SealSkinz etc) with them. Quite likely for the next few months I'd imagine.

Tried a pair of their road shoes on the other day. My normal size felt ok for length but they were way too narrow for me.

My Mavic road shoes are a half size bigger than my regular shoe size. Same size was just a bit neat. And they are narrow.
