Could someone make the use of any variation of the phrase “makes the trail come alive” a ban-able offence? It just isn’t funny, I’d say “any more” but it wasn’t the first time it was used and becomes less so every time.

Oh and while you’re at it could you add “own with bombers” to the list, that’s quite tedious too.

    😀

Anything which takes the mick out of the guff that is 650b is fine by me!

Bombers really make owning someone come alive though?

I found it so funny and ridiculous when bikeind first used it that I still think there’s mileage left in it. I don’t think we’ve quite milked it to death just yet. And anyway, taking the p1ss out of someone saying that 650B wheels made the trails came alive, really makes a thread come alive

Am I the only one who thinks the mentions of Bombers (owning with) and shoes (weeing in) has reduced a lot anyway? Perhaps it’s just the threads I’m choosing to look at.

How will I describe how my 650b bike rides if I can’t describe it as making the trail come alive?

Perhaps we could consider automatic bans for posters who feel the need to point out that they don’t find something funny. That’d practically put a few out of business.

Oh, and we should also ban those who make snidey, cryptic references to other posters.

Can’t do that, I’m afraid. He wouldn’t like it.

Seconded. If you want to feel the trail come alive, simply ziptie a large, angry badger to your seat tube. You can’t get much more alive than that.

I think we should make typing ‘banable’ when you mean ‘bannable’ should be a bannable offence.

But would you want to point out the error of that badger’s ways? Wouldn’t end well…

To be honest, if you can’t find an angry badger, strapping a happy one to your bike will probably have a similar effect after a short while.

Overuse of the word “should” should also be a bannable offence.

Should I stay or should I go?
If stay there should be trouble
but if I’m banned there should be double.
Come on and let me know
should I cool it or should I blow?
