   Well this is embarrassing. I'm wanting more light at night, and I have a 4yr old Exposure enduro(720 lumens). If I bought a Toro (apparently 975 lumens)would that mean I have an effective 1,695 lumens or just a wider spread of 975 lumens

   PLease help, my head hurts

   true, but it's all down to beam patterns and reflector shapes as to whether it would make an appreciable difference to what you can actually see.

   for a secondary light get something 'spotty' and helmet mounted.

   +1 on wide spread on the bars, tighter spot with longer 'throw' on the helmet.

   the more lumens the better

   I'll keep on investigating options.

   My old enduro seems to have a pointy spread, which either leaves foreground dark, or distance dark, so Deer stalker is more guess work than enlightenment at present.

   My lights all work, but don't want the cost of replacing them all, and however compromised the Exposure stuff is, it's less faff than separate batteries, at least it is in my head.
