I won free tickets to see the first guy ritchie film. Entertaining, but glad I didn’t pay. The BBC version is, as you say, much better

There. I feel better now.

Sometimes I think I am turning into my dad. He will try and retry jokes and puns until he gets a laugh – refining them slightly every time. We have learned to humour him, or laugh artificially the first time to avoid repetition.
