Here’s mine on a trip to ASDA to get flowers for a lady.

OK I’ve yet to fit up the rack to carry concrete sacks etc but I am pleased. I have been thinking the construction method would lend itself to rear suspension, what do you think?

Ive been thinking of doing something similar but including the rear wheel and having the rear frame pivoted like a trailer.

I’d like to see how you built it in more detail though? I’m guessing a simple bolted design at the axle/BB junction. The head tube of the rear frame is more confusing.

Does it fit down the stairs in your flat!?

Did you put the flowers in the rear seat tube?

Hope you didn’t over tighten the clamp and crush the stems.

Mark – yes and a bolt through the top tube & seat collar.

    Stu – good thinking!

Spey – it is tougher to maneouvre but well worth it I think you’ll agree.

just took a closer look at the pic and noticed you cut out the down tube. did you do that to get the top tube to the right length? if so, would your method work keeping the rear frame whole?

just that im interested in trying it but dont want to cut up a frame that could be perfectly usable.

Yes – the top tube is way too long so it needs to be cut down. I got the back frame off ebay for £30 though!

so, you have a home made front brake mount that’s got known longevity issues and no back brake?

    genius 😉

Hels-more of a comment on me but at least someone picked it up.

    Wwaswas FAIL:

    1. Different brake mount construction.
    2. Coaster brake.
