Perusing the local supermarket and was going to pop some Bud in the cart whilst it was on offer and I couldn’t help notice that the alcohol is now 4.8% rather than the previous 5%. Anyone know why this is? Checked out a few others and Stella seems to have dropped to 4.8% from it’s previous 5.2%.

Oh and before the wrath of Hades descends on the thread, in the summer months I prefer a Badger’s Champion or Fuller’s Honey Dew. Winter will see me reach for the Snecklifter, Hobgoblin or Old Peculiar. Leffe is an all year round option. 🙂

I wonder if it’s all marketing. They’ll quietly reduce the potency of a drink, then release Drink Export in a couple of months, making it look special when it’s really just the stuff you used to drink.
