If you install and download music from iTunes on a pc, can the music be loaded onto another mp3 player or music phone other than an iPhone or iPod?

Only from itunes plus. (they don't have the DRM) You need to go to Edit> preferences then Select General and then click Import Settings. Change the Import Using preference to MP3 Encoder. Close Preferences and then select the iTunes Plus song you wish to convert and choose Advanced > Create MP3 Version. Should in theory work but dunno if apple have changed the data, so might note.

Any stuff you've put in itunes yourself, CD's and the like, you can do with no real hassle at all, it just the stuff you buy from itunes. It's a PITA for sure, but that's iproduct for you…
